I need to mention how surprised I was to make it through comic-con so cheap, I did not spend nearly as much money as I thought I was going to spend. I thought I would break it down and explain how I did it.
Membership (3 days)
$90
Hotel (room share 4 nights)
$160
Food/Drink (total estimate)
$150
Gas (AZ to CA and back)
$60
Transport (3 days for trolley)
$15
Stuff
$10
Total
$485
I know I could have done it cheaper. I wasn’t supposed to be even paying for a Hotel but that’s another story. I was lucky enough to find people wanting to share a room for $40 a night. I thought I would buy more stuff while at the convention but every single day I walked out of there with a bag full of free stuff which was awesome. I could have spent less on food and going out drinking but I thought since I wasn’t buying anything at the convention might as well have fun! I go to Seattle in September and will be spending less then this.
