A Cheap First Friday

I managed to go out and have fun on a Friday night in Phoenix and only spend $14. The $14 was spent on food and drink. I could have spent less on food but I really wanted to go to a place and sit down, not stand up. I spent $5 on drinks and I did this by buying 2 small bottles of morgan and jack, you know the Barbie bottles, at Circle K for $4 and a fountain drink. I went to First Fridays in downtown Phoenix which was free and saw a whole bunch of cool bands and cool art for free. I was EXTREMELY tempted to go to tranz down the street but that was a $7 cover charge then really expensive drinks once you get inside but I resisted temptation by wearing really uncomfortable shoes. I walked for about 3 hours around First Fridays that my feet hurt so bad that I had to go home. I did not end up at home though, my good friend Karen let me stay at her place so I could save on gas :-) Now on to Saturday….
